3 Days Tanzania Safari Where to visit?
This package takes you to two of the most famous parks in Tanzania which makes part of the more visited Northern Tanzania Safari Circuit.
Tarangire National Park
Are elephants your favorite animals? Tarangire National Park harbors thousands of them. Large herds of elephants roam this wilderness in Northern Tanzania. You will be treated to great sightings of huge elephants dwarfed by the gigantic baobab trees of Tarangire. Tarangire River which is a permanent river that cross the park ensures a constant supply of water, which in draws lots of animals that come to drink at the banks.
Other animals that can be seen in Tarangire include lions, zebras, giraffes, elands, gazelles, hartebeests, Buffaloes, impalas, lions, cheetahs, leopards, and many other. Many birds can be spotted in Tarangire, both resident and migratory.
Ngorongoro Crater
Ngorongoro Crater is a small area of 21 Km in Diameter, full of wildlife, both animals and birds. No other place can compare to Ngorongoro Crater in terms of wildlife concentration per square kilometer. The small area is believed to harbor more than 20,000 animals, no wonder the place is referred as the ‘Africa’s Garden of Eden’.
Lake Manyara National Park
This small park covers a total of 330 Km square of which 110 is the landmass while 220 is the lake itself. The park is usually lush green with rainforest which have underground rivers that provide constant water supply to the lake and therefore wildlife wildlife as well. Lake Manyara National Park is well known for the legendary tree climbing lions, but many other animals call the park home.
3 Days Tanzania Lodge safari – Where to stay?
During this 2 days / 1 night safari in Tanzania, you will be accommodated in a lodge or tented camp within the Ngorongoro Conservation Area or in Karatu just outside the NCAA. No human habitation is allowed at the base of the Crater, while a few lodges and camps are located inside the conservation area but at the crater’s rim. Most of the accommodation at Ngorongoro are located in Karatu within a short driving distance from the main gate; Loduare.
Safari addons
After the safari you will be dropped back at Arusha from where you can take a flight to Zanzibar Island for a beach extension. We normally can include a flight from Arusha or from Kilimanjaro depending on availability. While at Zanzibar you will be staying in nice beach hotels and the cost depends on the level of comfort.
Apart from beach vacation in Zanzibar we can also arrange a hike to the rooftop of Africa; Mount Kilimanjaro. The climb to Mount Kilimanjaro can take from 5 days to 9 days depending on the route that you choose.

3 Days Tanzania safari Itinerary
Arusha – transfer to Tarangire National Park
Pick up from Arusha town and the environs. We pick up from any hotel in Arusha, at around 7 or 8 Am depending on your preference. Your guide will pick you up from your hotel’s lobby and after loading your luggage to the 4×4 safari jeep, you will take off to Tarangire National Park with a brief stop at the hops in Arusha if you wish to buy any personal supplies or change money. The drive to Tarangire National Park is a scenic one. Sights of Masai children grazing cattle in the Maasai Steppe, as well as rolling hills in the horizons. You will make a brief stop at the parks gate for paperwork and thereafter start on your first safari game drives right from the gate.
You will have picnic lunch at one of the picnic sites and proceed with safari game drives through the afternoon until around 4.30 Pm when you will exit the park and transfer to Karatu, in the Ngorongoro Highlands. Check in for dinner and overnight at the Marera Valley Lodge. Lunch and Dinner Included.

Safari in the Ngorongoro Crater floor
Early morning pick up from your lodge at Karatu, and transfer to Loduare Gate where you will make a brief stop for registration to enter the Ngorongoro Conservation Area at the Loduare Main Gate. The earlier you descend to the Crater floor, the better, because that gives you better chances to spot animals while they are still most active. The descent down the 600 meter high walls of the Crater is a highlight in itself, and once you arrive at the Crater floor you will start the safari game drives right away. Lunch will be served at the Hippo poolside picnic site. Explore the different habitats in the Crater floor in search of animals and with a little luck, you will spot the Big five; Lions, Elephants, Leopards, buffalos and Rhinos among many other animals. Late in the afternoon (or earl afternoon if you wish), you will be taken back to your lodge for relaxation and later dinner and overnight. Overnight at Marera Valley lodge.

Lake Manyara tour, transfer back to Arusha
This is the last day of your 3 days Tanzania lodge safari. You will wake up for an early morning breakfast then you will say goodbye to the lodge staff and take off for Lake Manyara National Park. It is a nice scenic short drive (of around 20 minute) down the Great Rift Valley Escarpment walls to the park’s main gate where you will make a brief stop for registration.
You will do game drives in Lake Manyara National Park in search of wild animals, up to shores of lake where you will watch hippos and many aquatic birds including geese and the colorful flamingos. Many animals migrate between tarangire and Lake Manyara including large herds of elephants. Lunch will be at a picnic site, then after satisfactory game drives you will be transferred back to Arusha where the safari ends.
